I could not sleep again last night, tossing in bed, thinking how to make my online classes more engaging! I am happy with the content and the structure of the class, but I am not so happy with the delivery. I feel that most of the current platforms that we use are too structured, and somehow too .... closed and isolated. I feel isolated from the students and from reality in the online classes. So I have been trying to find examples of cool online classes, new tips on how to design an engaging and meaningful class experience for online students. As I was browsing Internet, I came across this podcast. And now I am here, taking DS106 class! I am so excited about this opportunity! I look forward to meeting many new friends here!
